Blurb No.1

“Take your place.”

This is the cry of the Lord. For His children to come into their places. For His children to realize their true, full identities. Who are you? Who are you, really? Have you let the Lord tell you and show you? Have you allowed Him to give you pictures and visions and words? Take your place. Do your part. Come into your full identity and accomplish the work you are purposed to do with Him and He through you.

Some people think it’s impossible to step forward with God if you are afraid or unsure. I don’t think that’s true. I think it is a faith exercise to step forward when you don’t fully know what the Lord is planning, but stepping toward Him regardless because you have faith in the character of your Father. This is something I have been learning recently. Sometimes taking steps of faith seems like you are just taking steps into darkness. But once you have the faith to take one step, you will realize that God has already prepared the rest of the steps for you and your path is not dark, but full of light.

I just wanted to encourage someone who feels like God wants them to take a step into the dark. Sure, it can be scary. To trust in the voice of an invisible God, not fully understanding why you are so drawn to obeying His words. But trust, the seed of obedience has been planted in you since the beginning of eternity. The longing for a relationship with the God of the universe has been yours since before you were set in time. What have you got to lose by listening to that voice? What if it’s not just a voice inside of your head but Someone gently calling to you? Beckoning you to respond.

We are empty vessels. Pour into us, Yeshua.

  1. Amen! Pour into me Lord, so that I can be used to encourage others. Perhaps when it looks like we are stepping into darkness, it’s because God is over shadowing us, protecting us, hiding us until the time is right.

  2. Oooof this is so good.
Not a coincidence that the body of Christ is sensing the urgency to move towards the unknown of what God has for us…which is made palatable by the “known” which is God himself.
Blind faith: walking hand in hand with God without clear sight of the future, yet absolute security in the Father.

  3. Wow, yes and amen! Such a good reminder that faith is just believing, even just a little – the size of a mustand seed, that God is who He says he is. Yes to identity and steps of faith!
